About Ned
I grew up in Woodhaven, Michigan, in a working-class family. I've lived in Orlando, Florida; Lowell, Massachusetts; Midland, Charlevoix, Lake Orion, and now Oxford, Michigan. I studied at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. These places shaped my view of the world and gave me a deep respect for small towns, border communities, diverse people, and shared purpose.
Whether cheering at a Loons game in Midland or exploring the Hiawatha National Forest, I’ve met folks from every walk of life. I’ve seen what works in local government and what doesn’t. I understand what it means to raise a family, work multiple jobs, and worry about what tomorrow brings. That’s why I’m running—because I’ve been there. And I want a government that works for all of us.
